Compassionate Performer Pledge

No entertainer should perform and support events where animals are dragged off to certain death.

If Hilary Duff wants to end the campaign that is exposing her, we are giving her a simple way to do it. Hilary can be the first entertainer to take the "Compassionate Performer Pledge." Any performer who honestly cares about animals should jump at the opportunity to attach their name to the following pledge. It sends a strong signal to animal-abusing industries that they can't count on REAL entertainers to prop up their deplorable excuses for amusement.

Hilary's lawyer, her public relations people and some of her fans claim she cares about animals, so let's see if Ms. Duff can put her integrity behind their statements. We are asking her, and indeed all entertainers, to take the following pledge:

I pledge not to promote, perform at, or participate in any event that involves physical harm to animals. This includes, but is not limited to rodeos, bullfights, and circuses. I further pledge that I will not perform at any facility whose stated purpose promotes inflicting harm on animals. This includes, but is not limited to, bullrings.

SHARK expects that soon enough compassionate fans around the globe will urge Hilary, and other entertainers, to be among the first to take the Pledge!
