Horse Brutalized: This horse repeatedly has his head slammed into a chute gate. The victim was also slapped and punched in the face, had his ears pulled, and was shocked with 5,000 painful volts of electricity. Shame on Campbell for sponsoring rodeo animal abuse.

Horse Shocked: This horse did not want to buck, and was therefore shocked in the neck and head (see man with black electric prod in hand) with 5,000 painful volts of electricity more than twenty times. The man in the checkered shirt watching the abuse is stock contractor David Bailey. Toward the end of the third clip you can also see a PRCA judge watching the abuse and doing absolutely nothing. Prod manufacturer Hot Shot states that horses should never be shocked, and that animals should not be prodded around the head.

Horse Down: This victim, tormented by a flank strap and the spurring of the rider, blindly bucks into a fence and goes down. Campbell sponsors this cruelty.
Collapsed horse: This victim collapsed from the stress of his abuse. The rodeo announcer makes a joke of the animal's suffering by yelling, "Put another quarter in!" The victim is then almost trampled by another panicing animal. In the second clip, the horse is still down. An insensitive rodeo fan yells, "Bring the jumper cables!"
Steer Killed: This steer was killed in an event officially called steer roping. Rodeo fans, however, call it "steer busting" because of the violent nature of the event. In the second clip, the dead victim is dragged to a hiding place. Injured and dead animals alike were dragged into a tarped off area, out of view of spectators. At no point did SHARK investigators see anyone entering or leaving the tarped area other than to put more bodies in, indicating there was no veterinary care in spite of PRCA promises to the contrary. Is this the worldwide image Campbell wants?

Steer Dying: The stiffened legs of this animal means a severe injury. Regardless, the contest struggles against the dying animal for a score.

Steer Dying: This steer's neck was broken during steer busting. The victim was put in a trailer while dying but still alive. The trailer was locked up and the victim was left to suffer. Shame on Campbell for funding animal abuse!

Steer Injured: One of the ten victims we video documented at the PRCA's December 2004 steer busting finals in Amarillo, Texas. Other animals may walk off the arena floor only to go down later of internal injuries.
Steer Injured: One of the many victims of steer busting, a PRCA sanctioned event. The PRCA refuses to give details about victims injured and/or killed in steer busting, or any other rodeo events.

Steer Injured: One of the many victims of steer busting, a PRCA sanctioned event. Why is Campbell sponsoring indefensible animal abuse?
This victim was injured during a steer busting event in Vinita, Oklahoma. The victim was taken to a dark pen out of view and left to die. The steer received no visible veterinary care from the on-site veterinarian, and we challenge the PRCA to show that our observation is incorrect.

This steer, a steer busting victim, staggered out of the arena while bleeding from the nose and mouth.
Steer Folded, Dragged: This steer busting victim's body is literally folded in two and dragged. Still the unconcerned contestant goes for a score.
Steers Busted: Steer busting is a brutal sport injures and kills many animals every year, yet it is sanctioned by the Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association, of which Campbell Soup subsidiary Pace Foods is a sponsor.

Practice Calf Brutalized: In the midsummer heat, this calf could no longer get up after repeated use and abuse in practice. It was therefore brutalized by two degenerates in full view of everyone in the arena. No one said anything or made any attempt to stop the abuse.
Prod Use and Tail Twisting: A three to four month old calf has his tail twisted and pulled by a degenerate behind him AND is repeatedly shocked in the head with 5,000 volts of painful electricity by a "lady".
Tail Twisting and Dragging Over Bar: This victim has his sensitive tail repeatedly pulled, twisted and raked over steel fencing by two different assailants. Apparently one person alone couldn't inflict enough abuse.
