Berks County Judge Caught on Video Breaking PA Laws; SHARK to Hold Courthouse Press Briefing Friday, Charges Judge Shot Trapped Pigeons with Confederate Flag Backdrop
READING, PA – Court of Common Pleas Judge Adolph Antanavage will be the focus of a major press conference here at the county courthouse Friday (Aug. 29) over his illegal activities at a canned pigeon shoot – he was secretly recorded breaking state animal cruelty laws, at least once with a Confederate Flag behind him as he shot and killed pigeons.
The news briefing, including a release of a video of the judge's illegal actions and other documentation strongly suggesting he is unfit to be a judge, will be held at the Berks County Courthouse FRIDAY/AUG. 29 at 11 a.m. at 633 Court Street.

Antanavage not only was recorded shooting trapped pigeons launched from boxes and used as living targets, but he may have participated in, or knew about gambling and other illegal activities, according to SHARK, an international animal protection group.
In a letter to the Pennsylvania Governor – who nominated Antanavage to his post - and the President Judge of the Court of Common Pleas of Berks County, SHARK documents the Judge's participation in shooting pigeons in violation of the PA animal cruelty statutes.
That letter and other details and video will be released at Friday press conference.
