On September 30th, 2014 Cherokee Nation member Twila Barns spoke out against Principal Chief Bill John Baker's participation in Senator Inhofe's pigeon shoot fundraiser held on on September 5, 2014. Thousands of birds were shot as sport and entertainment during this event.
