This sleazy lawyer and masquerading cowboy exposes the true nature of the PRCA.You might imagine that the commissioner of the world's largest rodeo association would be a real cowboy. If so, you would be wrong. Recently appointed PRCA commissioner Troy Ellerman is a California lawyer, and his most prominent case to date involves his defense of individuals accused of supplying illegal steroids to professional athletes. Yee (as they say) ha. With the tracks of his hastily departed predecessor former commissioner Steve Hatchell (who also wasn't a cowboy) still warm, Ellerman is on the run from multiple issues, most notably the PRCA's refusal to stop maiming and killing animals in its cruelest event – steer busting. As for former Commissioner Hatchell, he demonstrated his dedication to the cowboy lifestyle by moving to Indiana to become the president of a college football hall of fame. John Wayne must be rolling over in his grave. |
