Say you are a private citizen and engage in a hobby that someone else finds repulsive. Then, that somebody and his associates descend upon your workplace, carrying protest signs and calling attention to your activities.
How's it feel?
You might ask Ken Hassis, a salesman at Miller Ford in Lumberton.
On Saturday, Hassis was the subject of a protest outside his workplace on Route 38 for shooting pigeons for sport while he is off duty. The group Showing Animals Respect and Kindness (SHARK) spent about two hours calling attention to Hassis' visit to a club in Berks County, Pa., that hosts pigeon shoots. That is, pigeons are released from wooden boxes and are shot from the sky.
