Contact the Sponsors of this Cruelty! All photos from the 2007 CFD Rodeo.Rodeos could not exist as they do today without corporate sponsorships. They openly admit this themselves as the CFD website says: "Cheyenne Frontier Days Would not be possible without the involvement of our Sponsors." With little and still declining public interest in these throwback spectacles, rodeos are clinging to unethical companies like ticks on a dog. The corporations who stoop to sponsoring rodeo animal abuse do so with the full knowledge that they are sponsoring cruelty. SHARK has supplied these companies with overwhelming and irrefutable evidence of the brutality, maiming and death that they "proudly" support.
Some of the most prominent sponsors of the 2007 Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, as well as other rodeos include, Coca-Cola, Sams Club/Walmart, Dodge vehicles, and McDonalds (an old hand at perpetuating animal misery). This is just to name a few. Two particularly disappointing Cheyenne Rodeo supporters are the Denver Broncos Football Team, and The United States Air Force Thunderbirds Aerobatic Flight Team. Given the Michael Vick dogfighting case that has scandalized professional football, it would be especially wise for the Broncos to rethink their involvement in the deadly and lurid issue of rodeo animal abuse. The Thunderbirds are very popular with the public, and in the interest of maintaining their shining reputation, the aerobatic team should not lower itself to supporting animal cruelty, like it did at Cheyenne's rodeo. SHARK's documentation of the abuse at the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo should be more than enough to persuade any decent, self-respecting organization to steer clear.
You can help in a big way by contacting both the Thunderbirds and the Denver Broncos
Click on the video to see SHARK's investigative footage of the Cheyenne Frontier Days and how the Thunderbirds are betraying real American values.
SHARK and many other compassionate fans have sent the Denver Broncos and the Thunderbirds letters protesting their involvement and requesting a meeting on this issue. Additionally, SHARK sent informational packages including video footage and still pictures of horses being shocked, as well as newspaper articles exposing the abuse to both organizations. CLICK HERE to learn more about the USAF Thunderbirds' disgusting involvement with the rodeo industry--giving the abuse announcers joyrides! As sponsors of the Cheyenne Frontier Days Rodeo, the following companies also give money to support this contest of cruelty propagandized as "family entertainment". Without financial backing from the following ethically-challenged corporations and welfare from the government, the rodeo industry would never survive. Help put an end to the torture, injuries, and deaths of animals trapped in a bloodsport that hides behind the falsehood of "American tradition". Please speak up and tell these companies that as long as they continue to support animal abuse, financially or any other way, that you will not buy their products. Urge these sponsors to look at www.ShameOnCheyenne.com and view the video and photos from SHARK's investigations. To learn more about rodeo's dirty practices, go to RodeoCruelty.com.
