Self-described investigative journalist Will Potter raised more than $90,000 for a drone project. Mr. Potter said the drones would investigate factory farms. More than two years later, there is apparently no drone footage, no drones, and no investigation. SHARK asks - what happened to the money?
UPDATE - Predictably, the FHSP has failed to respond to SHARK's appeal to actually do something for the victims of pigeon shoots. SHARK absolutely condemns the FHSP's leadership as a fraud, and the organization generally as nothing more than a profiteer.
SHARK President Steve Hindi pays tribute to those who answered the call to action against corrupt Oklahoma Senator Jim Inhofe in 2016, and names the organizations who shamefully did nothing. The groups who did nothing include:
The American Society for the Protection of Animals (ASPCA), Animal Charity Evaluators, Animal Equality, Compassion Over Killing, The Humane Society of the United States (HSUS), In Defense of Animals, Farm Animal Rights Movement (FARM), Green is the New Red, The Humane League, Mercy for Animals, People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
The Women's Humane Society brags on its website that it is the oldest humane society in the country. It brings in about three million dollars annually, and has about nine million dollars in reserves. It claims to help all animals, but just a few miles away, some of the worst animal abuse in the nation occurs at the Philadelphia Gun Club (PGC).
PGC members are wealthy, politically connected, but morally bankrupt psychopaths who blast live pigeons tossed out of boxes at close range with shotguns. Many birds escape wounded, where they may take hours or days to die slow, horrible deaths.
In spite of this horrendous and illegal abuse, the Women's Humane Society turns a blind eye. Why???????????
