These are just a few images of contestants at a rodeo on Irene Rd in Boone County, IL on April 13, 2024 who couldn’t follow basic rules. The new ordinance states that “All participants in the animal show/rodeo who interact with animals must wear a clearly visibly bib number on their back. This includes the competitors and individuals responsible for moving the animals from place to place before, during, and after the event.”
The rodeo people are clearly showing their contempt for the Boone County Board and their rules. And for once we are agreeing with them. A corrupt minority of board members are bullying the majority who know the difference between right and wrong but are too spineless to stand up to the corruption.
