DEAR FRIENDS,

For more than a month and a half, SHARK has warned the Girl Scouts of Central and Southern NJ and the US Girl Scouts that their partnership with the notorious Cowtown Rodeo was a terrible mistake. We showed them that Cowtown has a history of animal abuse, misogyny and racism. The Girl Scouts, however, didn't care. On June 15th, 2019, the Cowtown Rodeo held its Girl Scout night. SHARK was there, and we filmed horrific acts of animal cruelty, including innocent calves being brutalized and a horse who suffered terrible agony and bloody injuries.

Watch our new video HERE

The animal abuse wasn't the only disgusting thing to happen that night. Both the rodeo clown and announcer made a series of misogynistic statements and jokes that involved the beating and killing of women.

The announcer was particularly hateful towards women, implying that they were only interested in men for their money. He then told a supposed joke of a “young lady” who immediately has sex with a guy at a bar who had been a jerk to her - and he did this on Girl Scout night!  We aren't making this up. You can hear it for yourself in our video.

This horse was tortured by Cowtown thugs. He had two bloody wounds on his legs

Cowtown knew we had been calling them out for their misogyny and they doubled down on it and completely humiliated the Girl Scouts and their leadership who refused to take any action to stop the event from happening. Shame on Cowtown and shame on the Girl Scout leadership for supporting this disgusting rodeo.

Please join with us in calling on the Girl Scouts to end their partnership with this disgusting rodeo. Please let us know if you get a response, and please be polite and respectful:

We at SHARK are working every day to fight for animals - now we need your help. Our funds are running dangerously low. A number of investigative efforts have already been cancelled, or are on hold because we simply don't have sufficient funds. Please consider making a generous donation now to keep SHARK going strong for the animals!

On June 18th, SHARK investigator Janet Enoch spoke in our home state of Illinois at the Kane County Development Committee, regarding our drone footage of property in Blackberry Twp. that has more than 100 roosters housed on it.

Filming suspected cockfighting properties has become a priority of SHARK. Cockfighting is a vile act where animals are tortured for gambling and fun. Please consider supporting SHARK so that we may continue to fight against this violence.

From SHARK's video. The property was packed with roosters

On June 18th, the New York City Council heard a bill that would provide stiff penalties to those who kidnap pigeons from the streets. SHARK provided testimony about our vast experience fighting pigeon shoots which was read at the hearing. We will keep you updated on this.

We need your continued support since we are the ONLY group on the ground, on the water and in the air fighting the psychopaths when and where they chose to commit their evil acts of cruelty.
